Petri Järvilehto, Rovio’s Executive Vice President of Games officially confirmed 3DS version of Angry Birds Trilogy. It includes original Angry Birds, Angry Birds Rio and Angry Birds Seasons, on one cartridge. There’ll be PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions too, coming on this holiday season.
Good news for fans of Square Enix 3DS productions in United Kingdom! Square Enix Europe has announced that they will be running a “Square Enix 3DS Community Day” on Thursday, 12th July 2012 in London. Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy and Heroes of Ruin will be all playable on yet unreleased Nintendo 3DS XL.
It’s definitely worth attending if you’re in the area, so make sure you to secure a spot in one of the two sessions.
Nintendo is working on both traditional and brand-new-games for Wii U. If he had to choose, legendary designer Shigeru Miyamoto’s top franchises that he wants for Wii U are Metroid and Star Fox. He “feels like the possiblities for GamePad for Metroid could be very fantastic.” Miyamoto didn’t confirm whether these games are in development but revealed that, out of all Nintendo franchises, he “personally” wants the Star Fox most on Wii U.
“With Metroid it’s very easy to imagine some interesting completion for Wii U. I think that having another screen with the gyro built in really gives you a lot of interesting opportunities for development, and we can bring a lot of our games to life in a completely unique way with that.”
To be honest, it’s 2,035,471 units of new Pokemon.
The score is even more impressive when we mention, that only Pokemon games sell so well. (Or that the games were released on DS, not the 3DS.) Aren’t these 649 sweet faces cool?
