[Android] An Android-based game console in 2013?

Ouya, this is a name of project of new gaming console based on Android system. Ed Fries, co-founder of first Xbox console, and Yves BĂ©har, designer of several Samsung devices design a console that will be efficient, inexpensive and will have extremely open environment for game designers. Developers will be able to publish their titles on it, which then will be available for free. Planned technical parameters of new Android console are Quad-Core Tegra 3, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB of flash memory, a WiFi network card, Bluetooth module and one USB 2.0 port. It’ll run on Android 4.0 version. Producents would allow to modify the hardware configuration without having to worry about losing warranty. Proposed cost of hardware is 99$. Playing smartphone games on a big screen, it’d be interesing, don’t you think?
