This could harm your disk drives (including the mounted ones).
Relst told me about REISUB.
What does it do?
It’ll kill all Applications, unmount all drives (USB Pen Drives, CD’s, DVD’s, other HDD/SDD’s, etc.) and reboot your system.
This is a lot safer, since there isn’t a chance of making damage to your system.
You can use it like this:
1. Hold Alt+Print Screen.
2. Press B, while holding down the other 2 buttons.
3. There is no 3rd step.
It’ll reboot safely now.
If you want to try it out yourself, try to overload your system, until it crashes, and do this.
Well, it will also work without crashing your system. :-P
