Classic arcade racer comes to consoles this month with online multiplayer

SEGA ® Europe Ltd.. and SEGA ® of America, Inc.. have announced that the popular arcade racer Daytona USA ™ this month will make triumphant return to the home consoles. Daytona USA rushes from its debut in 1993 to the present and will be released on Xbox LIVE ® Arcade for the Xbox 360 ® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PlayStation ® Network. The classic title has been overhauled and tuned with improved graphics, support for steering wheels, and (for the first time on home consoles) multiplayer. Daytona USA will be available as a quick digital download on October 26 for XBLA (800 Microsoft Points). In Europe, Daytona late November released on PSN.

Since its debut in the Daytona USA arcade has withstood the test of time as one of the best racing titles from SEGA, thanks to the colorful tracks for both beginners and advanced riders, fast gameplay and exciting multiplayer options. Race fans associate the iconic soundtrack directly with SEGA, and every detail of the original hit was meticulously preserved, polished and adjusted for the ultimate version of Daytona USA.

The re-release of Daytona USA include:
· Fresh oil and a new paint job: Enjoy the classic retro graphics of the original speelhalhit on a widescreen enhanced for 16:9
· Come, we go on tour: Experience the glory days of racing again and enjoy the original soundtrack of Daytona USA, which is also available in karaoke mode (admit it: you’ve ever sung)
· Provide full throttle: Ride Like a Pro with support for the Logitech Driving Force GT steering wheel controller on the PS3 and Xbox 360 all supported steering wheel controllers

Finish at the top: Challenge AI opponents in arcade mode, race against the clock in time trial and survival modes, and bots up to eight players in online multiplayer for yourself in the world rankings place
